Assisted Living is about my unexpected experience as an adult briefly living with my elderly parents and working for elderly home renovation clients. It refers to the physical, mental, and spiritual support that the elderly may experience in their final years. The red color of the backing piece gives the artwork the unmistakable sense of emergency, while also offering a series of nine wire pulls atop Corian solid surface material that mimic shower bars and counters found in many bathrooms of the elderly.
