1:1.1 is about the many self-made identities that we construct and the components we seek to upgrade our perceived selves. This desire to improve is often based on an outside perception of such components before their real integration into our complex and evolutionary lives. Our imagined value of these components sometimes highlights their perfection and – by extension – our reach towards an equally imagined greatness. Often in popular Western culture, we lionize what’s ostensibly missing before we accept who we currently are and the integrity that we already retain.
